I actually like race, or atleast my ethnicity. I wouldn’t want to just be called American, I would feel like that would hide many aspects of my history and who I am. This wouldn’t be the case is I were living in a place like Haiti, somewhere in Africa, or someplace like that that isn’t as much of a melting pot, but in the case of America, I would rather be Black.
