I love those pictures so much for some reason. It’s the first time I’ve thought “He’s so cute” of the ‘white’ Michael Jackson.
This week “The Girl is Mine” has emerged as one of my top 3 Michael songs. I keep listening to it over and over. Maybe because it sounds like it could be a duet in a musical. Now I want to write a musical with MJ music. I’m sure someone more qualified than I has almost finished such a project. I hope so.
Time to watch the big send off. I so wish I could be there. I am in spirit. So is Michael.

I never stop feeling sad that Michael had to disfigure himself. I always remember what he looked like around the time of Thriller and I thought he looked really great then. I wish he had continued to look like that for the last 20 years. Janet still looks the same as she did in the mid-80s which is great.

Just a quick note to clarify – those last pictures of Janet performing with her brother; that is not Michael. That is her brother Randy, who is five years older than her. Michael was 8 years older than her, and assuming that Janet was anywhere from 7 to 9 years old in that picture, that boy next to her would have had to be 15 to 17 years old if he were Michael. It’s Randy, and he’s between 12 and 14 years old there. If it was labeled as Michael somewhere on the web (like People magazine) it’s labeled wrong.
